In 2003, Katrice approached her journalism professor to share her intention of dropping out of her degree. Her personal situation had changed and she had no choice but to return to full-time work.
Upon hearing her plans, her teacher and mentor asked, "If I help you to find work as a writer, will you commit to this path? Your talent is too great to let go."
That single conversation changed the course of Katrice's life forever.
Starting her career as a community newspaper journalist, she quickly gained expertise in writing engaging content. She earned a reputation as an exceptional and honest writer.
Katrice's versatility in seamlessly transitioning between creative, personality-infused copy, and polished corporate writing, coupled with her exceptional interpersonal skills, enabled her to secure numerous positions within the media industry following the completion of her Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) in 2006.
One noteworthy highlight of Katrice's career was her role as a Senior Press Officer for the United Kingdom's medicine regulator (the MHRA).
In this capacity, she skillfully negotiated, developed, and implemented media handling strategies involving prominent organisations such as the Metropolitan Police, INTERPOL, World Customs Organisation, UK Border Agency, and more than 80 countries participating in an international anti-counterfeit medicine campaign. The outcome was widespread international media coverage across various platforms.
Katrice boasts a broad range of experience, spanning from newspapers and magazines, to providing behind-the-scenes support for popular television productions like Embarrassing Bodies (Channel 4), Fake Britain (BBC One), and Panorama (BBC).
Confident and charismatic, Katrice possesses an innate talent for storytelling. She effortlessly transforms the mundane into the captivating, and turns technical subjects into an 'easy-read'. This skill, unteachable yet mastered by Katrice, lends an air of effortlessness to her work.
Katrice is currently the Communications Manager for the Asia Pacific region at Christian Vision (CV), a global evangelism ministry. This role is a perfect fit for her, as it enables her to combine her diverse communication skills and exceptional writing abilities.
Working alongside gifted content creators and communication specialists from around the globe, she seeks out opportunities to acquire fresh skills and knowledge. This dynamic environment fuels her passion for evangelism and her enthusiasm for the work she does at CV.
